St John's

8am Sunday: Holy Communion

The 8am service normally includes three hymns. The 1662 Book of Common Prayer is used on the first Sunday of each month and on Easter Day and Christmas Day. All other services are from A Prayer Book for Australia (1995).

10am Sunday: Sung Eucharist

The 10am service is a choral service led by the parish choir, evoking the full richness and beauty of the Anglican tradition. The 1995 A Prayer Book for Australia is used at all services and Sunday School is offered during school term for all children present.

5pm Sunday: evening worship and Emmaus: the way of faith

The 5pm service (commencing Sunday 10th October) takes place in the Angel Chapel. A  variety of forms of worship are used, using the Anglican Prayer Book. A large and important part of this service is Emmaus: the way of faith (click here for more details). The service (including Emmaus: the way of faith) concludes by 6pm.

Prayer is available in the Angel Chapel after the administration of Holy Communion at each service for those desiring this ministry.

All present are welcome to breakfast in the Guild room between services at 9am, and to coffee / tea following the 10am service. A parish barbecue lunch takes place at approximately 12noon on the first Sunday of each month. All welcome.
